Hi everyone! My name is Kristine, and I became an Independent Beach Body Coach to share my Turbo Jam success story, as well as help others realize their fitness goals and take that next step to leading healthier, more energetic lives. I loved Turbo Jam so much that I ended up getting a job with Chalene Johnson! (Turbo Jam's creator and Beachbody trainer) I'm currently working for her company - Hi everyone! My name is Kristine, and I became an Independent Beach Body Coach to share my Turbo Jam success story, as well as help others realize their fitness goals and take that next step to leading healthier, more energetic lives. I loved Turbo Jam so much that I ended up getting a job with Chalene Johnson! (Turbo Jam's creator and Beachbody trainer) I'm currently working for her company - Powder Blue Productions - as the Manager of Event Operations. I also teach the group exercise gym version of Turbo Jam twice a week, which is always a BLAST! When I'm not working out, I'm tutoring high school kids in math, chemistry, and SAT Reasoning Test prep.

I grew up in the Mid-West as a slim kid who was very active in sports - volleyball, basketball and softball in junior high; cross-country and track & field throughout high school. I came to Southern More...
I grew up in the Mid-West as a slim kid who was very active in sports - volleyball, basketball and softball in junior high; cross-country and track & field throughout high school. I came to Southern California for college - and while I found a new place to call home, so did an extra 30 pounds in my body by the time I graduated. After I started dating my then-boyfriend (Jonathan - who is now my fiance), life became very comfortable, and fitness didn't have to be a priority anymore. Or so I thought. My family started noticing my weight gain, and finally expressed concern as I gained more weight. After looking through some old pictures and comparing them to more recent ones, I became disappointed with myself, and finally decided to take action. Together with Jonathan, I started hitting up the gym. But going on a treadmill or elliptical got old really fast, and I started losing my motivation. Then a friend suggested that I try Turbo Jam. Although she referred to it as "cardio kickboxing," it had really cool jams (not the typical cheesy cardio music that you're used to hearing at the gym)! I absolutely LOVE music and dancing, and was instantly hooked! I swear I was at a party every time, and totally forgot that I was working out! I got my fiance to join me; it always helps to have a workout buddy!
It took about a year's time doing Turbo Jam regularly and a few adjustments in my eating habits before I finally lost 40 POUNDS! I really want to get back to my high school weight, and I'm confident that I'll get there with the help of Beachbody! I will never give up Turbo Jam - but now, I'm currently looking to Beachbody's other offerings to help me lose that last bit of weight, and also start building a stronger, more toned body. Meanwhile, I'm also excited for this opportunity to help others get fit and create their own success stories. There's many ways to get started, including becoming a coach like me!
