Transformation Story

To be honest, weight has never really been an issue for me. I have always
been thin, but being fit and healthy was another story entirely. I hated to

To be honest, weight has never really been an issue for me. I have always
been thin, but being fit and healthy was another story entirely. I hated to
exercise and the drive-thru was my best friend.

I had my 3rd baby in October of 2006 and gained 46 lbs during pregnancy.
For those of you who like the math that's 46% of my pre-pregnancy weight!
This pregnancy was miserable because I had so little muscle tone or strength,
things went south fast! EVERYTHING hurt! My recovery was also was
much slower this time. I was tired ALL of the time; struggled with lower back
pain and I worried that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with our growing family.
Just one trip up the stairs with the baby, and I could feel my heart pounding
in my throat!

I have to thank my husband and coach (Aaron2) for encouraging me to do
something. Our good friends Dereck and Doug introduced us to Million
Dollar Body in April and I reluctantly started walking and logging into WOWY
everyday. It really is fun to see everyone there, whether you know them or
not! I found it difficult to maintain an outside regimen with three little ones
at home, so I started alternating days; walk one, Sculpt with Tony the next. It
wasn’t long before I was fully committed to Power90. It’s just easier for me
to workout at home.

After 90 days of Power90, Activit and WOWY, I still didn't love to exercise, but
I was definitely digging the results! No more back pain, LOADS more energy!
Since then, Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs and Yoga Booty Ballet have taught me
that exercise really can be fun and P90X is showing me that I can do things I
NEVER thought were possible! I'm still not chompin' at the bit to get up and
go at 6 AM, but I'm always glad when I do and miss it when I don't.

I am most definitely in the best shape of my life.... even better than when I
was in high school! What’s even better, is that Team Beachbody has
transformed our
entire family! My husband is lighter
now than when we married 13 years ago and for the first time has been able
to maintain his results even during set-backs! Our children are beginning to
make
healthier food choices and we have so much more fun with them since we
have the energy and strength to play WITH them instead of just WATCH them
play. It's also pretty cool to see them "bringin it" with Tony.... even the baby
(almost 2 now) jumps in and tries!
