Victorville, CA All my life since I can remember I’ve always been overweight, the biggest one in class, the shy one, always kept to myself, always thinking about my weight and had very low self esteem. Since I’m 13 I have weighed over 220Lbs, not happy about it, but always wanting to make a difference in my life style, I have always been active, bike riding, soccer, dirt bike riding, rollerblading, although I’ve All my life since I can remember I’ve always been overweight, the biggest one in class, the shy one, always kept to myself, always thinking about my weight and had very low self esteem. Since I’m 13 I have weighed over 220Lbs, not happy about it, but always wanting to make a difference in my life style, I have always been active, bike riding, soccer, dirt bike riding, rollerblading, although I’ve always been the biggest, I never liked being the last one, and never was, I always pushed for that, at least to not be the last, I always tried my best. All thru high school and part of college I tried to lose weight, always lost a certain amount and gain it all back plus interest, never came below 220Lbs. All this happened while I lived in Venezuela. I lived there from age 10-20. When I came back to the US I started eating all of the fast food I figured I had missed out all of those years in Venezuela, so I had to recuperate, and I did! I got all the way up to 285Lbs, when I figured I had recuperated from all the fast food, I did some low carb diets and lost some weight and went back to 262Lbs, gyms (paying but not actually going), diets, all you can think of, I tried, diet pills, everything, once with one of those pills I got sent to the hospital. I never had anything mayor like heart problems, or high cholesterol, because I love water and the Dr. said that has helped, but I felt horrible with myself everyday. I saw Slim in 6 from Beachbody on TV one day for my mom, she wanted to lose weight, so we got it and I worked out with her for a couple of days, wasn’t for me, didn’t get my attention, plus I was still lazy to workout. One day, I saw P90X on TV, I liked what I saw. When I started looking into it, I had no idea it was from the same Beachbody family as Slim in 6. I started understanding what Beachbody was all about. I started P90X at 262Lbs on January of 2007, lost about 16Lbs in 2 months doing P90X, with the help of my very good friend, who I started talking to, he turned into my coach, without officially being my coach, he was always their for me, following up, then I decided to go with Hip Hop Abs and then Turbo Jam, not knowing what I really wanted I didn’t lose weight, not being consistent with my workouts and eating unhealthy foods, I went back to 285Lbs and back down to 262Lbs... I finally got serious around November 2007 so I decided to start with Power 90 and finally commit to my workouts and eating healthy, and finally break my 220Lbs goal. I passed that goal several months ago and I am happy to say I am currently 185Lbs and I still don't know what weight I will end up being, I just know my next goal is a 6 pack!

All my life since I can remember I’ve always been overweight, the biggest one in class, the shy one, always kept to myself, always thinking about my weight and low self esteem. Since I’m 13 I have weighed over 220Lbs, not happy about it, but always wanting to make a difference in my life style, I have always been active, bike riding, soccer, dirt bike riding, rollerblading, although I’ve always been the biggest, I never liked being the last one, and never was, I always pushed for that, at least to not be the last, I always tried my best. One day, I saw P90X on TV I liked what I saw. When I started looking into it, I had no idea it was from the same Beachbody family as Slim in 6. I started understanding what Beachbody was all about. I started Beachbody at 262Lbs on January of 2007, lost about 16Lbs in 2 months doing P90X, not really eating the best foods but I was eating better and healthier, I didn’t finish P90X because I thought I needed to lose more weight before I continued with the program so I decided to go with Hip Hop Abs and then Turbo Jam, not knowing what I really wanted I didn’t lose weight, not being consistent with my workouts, I started eating like crazy again and I went back to my highest weight of 285Lbs. I started working out again and trying to lose some weight. I went back down to 262Lbs until I finally got serious around November 2007. I decided to start with Power 90, commit to my workouts and eat right to finally break the 220Lbs. With the help of my coach I decided enough is enough, I’m tired of starting something and not finishing it. Trying to start at the end of the year was pretty difficult because of the holidays, I didn’t want it to be my new years resolution again, that’s how every year started for me, eating right for a couple of weeks and back to eating like crazy. I figured this time I will commit, and I have had my ups and downs as we all do, but I have consistently gone down, so far since last November of 2007 I till today I have lost a total of 100Lbs and 16.4% body fat and over 20 inches off my body, I feel great. I can finally do pull ups! I couldn't do 1/2 a pull up to save my life before! I am currently in the best shape of my life and have not finished at all. There is not real finish date to life time goal commitment, all I can do is continue to reach new goals and getting better each day.
