I’m Lindsay – a 27 year old east coast girl with a desire to make it all happen! Keeping up with a busy life of being a public relations professional, wife, mother of two dogs, friend, daughter, sister, homeowner and prime time TV junkie has always left me feeling that I don’t have time for fitness. But recently I vowed to myself that I’d make fitness a priority in my life.

I’ve never been “overweight” but for a while I lacked the self esteem and confidence to be happy with my body. I recently got married in September of 2008 and worked hard to make smarter choices and prioritize making fitness a priority in my life. Well….after the wedding and the honeymoon I fell back into my unhealthy habits, stopped working out and wished on many occasions that I didn’t throw out my pre-wedding “fat pants.”
After my wedding I gained 14 lbs in six months! Six months! I felt depressed, sluggish, unhappy and just knew that I needed to make changes!
Its been a couple of months now and I’m still working on getting the body I’ve always wanted but I feel confident, hopeful, happy and I know that its not a question of whether I can do it anymore - I know I can, and I will! I’m currently doing ChaLEAN Extreme and I absolutely love it! Prior to ChaLEAN I hated working out with weights, but this program has completely changed my attitude and I have seen the changes in my body faster than the weeks when I spent my workouts in the gym on the elliptical and treadmill. I’m excited to continue my journey and reaching my goal of having the body I’ve always wanted. New bikini here I come!
