I was the Queen of Junk Food while riding the diet rollercoaster for years! I went from a size 8/10 up to a size 24 and back down to every size in between depending on what was going on in my life! In 1993, I gained 73 pounds to tip the scale at 238 pounds during my only pregnancy. After being totally stressed out and yo-yo dieting for the next few years, I found a formula for weight loss success! I finally stopped dieting and started living well by eating for good health and getting active to better manage my stress and I shed those extra pounds. It took me almost 36 months to lose the weight, and I was able to keep it off for years. That is until 2009!

Following a series of overwhelmingly stressful life events in 2008, my weight ballooned to 207 lbs and I was wearing a really tight size 16 in February 2009. I pulled out my "baby weight" photo that captured my incredibly uncomfortable life at size 24 and that was the reality check I needed to get back to being active to get my stress & emotional eating under control again.

I readily admit that my weight fluctuates based on how well I manage my stress load & balance everything in my life. I started doing my favorite Beachbody workouts everyday including Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6, and the Slim Series and everything else just became easier-from making better food & snack choices, to drinking water, to supplementing with vitamins, calcium, & protein to finding ways to boost my metabolism. There is no doubt it's working, because I just keep getting slimmer and slimmer every week! By late June of 2009, I had lost about 30 pounds and got down to a size 12 and I am still losing!

Yes, I am back on track & living well again! I’m now working out with Beachbody fitness programs & my favorite trainers, eating for good health, taking supplements for faster results, dressing for weight loss success with Body Magic, coaching others as a Beachbody coach, and supporting my team of coaches all while creating the life of my dreams.

I set a personal goal to be a 44+ year old hottie who is a “really toned and healthy size 8" by the end of 2009, and I am well on my way to achieving that. I draw inspiration from my desire to help others & lead by example and to always be there for my loved ones, and that motivates me to never again allow myself to ever get comfortable at any size above a size 8/10.
