I was a member of a gym for four years that was closer to my job but not in my hometown. It was a 45 minutes drive from my house to my job. During the time I was a member of the gym, my goal was to go to the gym after work and then leave for home. According to my fitness profile back in December 2002, my weight was 139.4 lbs with 29.4 percent body fat. The smallest size I was wearing was size 10. It was the best I could do.
A new job opportunity came up in the fall of 2004 that was closer to my home. Due to the distance between home and gym, my membership with the gym ended. To find other alternative, I brought a new treadmill to maintain my fitness. The fitness clubs in my area did not fit my criteria. One of the most important criteria was the location of the fitness club. The closest fitness club was more than 5 miles away from my house and nowhere near the route have I taken on my way home from work. I knew it would be difficult for me to push myself to get to the gym based on location!
Instead, I tried another method of working out by doing it at home. I was using the fitness program on TV and subscribed with another DVD fitness program that used the ball. I was pretty active for about 6 months until a family situation came up. I became inactive and my weight slowly increased. I have tried to use my will power to stay in fit but it was not working due to lack of support and motivation. I promised myself that I must go on a diet if I ever reach 160 pounds and wearing size 14. I started to plan my new fitness program when I weigh 159 pounds by joining Beach Body club.
By looking at the statistic, this is telling me that using the Beach Body products work and it will work for YOU too. If you can see the picture of me as before and after, here is my story of how I joined Team Beach Body club.
In August of 2007, I came across with infomercial program on TV showing P90X. I did my research and found P90 Boot Camp was the starting point for me to start working out for 90 days. It was the best decision I made. I wished I would have joined it sooner. I found my motivation. It helped me reach to the next level by using the message board and WOWY. Also, I found that this fitness program has a niche and everyone in this community help each other to be successful with the Team Beach Body fitness program. I believe being together brought us closer to the goal. I have been pressing play from this day forward and never looked back.
Currently, I am taking my goal as one step at a time. I have short term goal and long term goal. My long term goal is to be at 17 -18 percent body fat. My short term goal is to press play for 6 consecutive days by following the 90 day program. The results so far have been successful. I have lost 5 dresses size since I started with the program. When I go shopping for new outfit for the current season, I am amazed that I can wear any nice clothes that are in style. It is a GREAT FEELING!!!
I do believe that Beach Body products will change your heath, your life and your body. It is amazing how much progress I have made and how great to see how my body transformed. If I made this far, I believe you will succeed too. It starts with you by pushing play for 6 consecutive days. It showed when I saw my picture after I reached Day 90. I could not believe that I used to be that person on Day 1. I become a coach in October 2007 because I want to help others to achieve the same goal as I have because we can do it together.
