I am soon to be 49 years old. I have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren. All my life I have struggled with my weight. Three or four times I won the battle. But, obviously I have not won the war. Always the weight has crept back on, and each time I ended up weighing more than before.
I have just started Turbo Jam. My starting weight is 182. I am 5 ft 4 in tall. I have a few physical limitations

I have just started Turbo Jam. My starting weight is 182. I am 5 ft 4 in tall. I have a few physical limitations (minor). I had shoulder surgery in the beginning of March and still have limitations to movement and weight-lifting. I have arthritis in my knees and hips which at this time only causes pain, not actual limitations. I have frequent back pain and my flexibility is no where near what I would like it to be.
I am a volunteer firefighter/EMT and am not able to fully do the job due to the surgery. I need to increase my lifting ability in order to perform the job well.
On the light side, I ride my own motorcycle and this year look forward to a trip to Ohio (I live in Rhode Island). My husband and I belong to a motorcycle/firefighter club (he is a firefighter also). I am looking forward to improving my overall health so I can enjoy life with my children and family without the limitations of pain and exhaustion.
