Some say turning 40 feels like turning 20, well in my case I came slamming into my 40th birthday like a ton of bricks. Prior to turning 40 I worked out in the gym for the past 20 years as an althete and someone who always wanted to be fit. That six pack only came to me when I would drive to the 7/11 to purchase one. My late brother-in-law, two star beach body coach, Tom Harper was eager for me to learn the benefits of P90X and the business opportunity associated with this amazing life style change. I signed up but did NOTHING as I was, YES, very, very busy, as everyone else, working my day job as well as acting a couple nights a week in theatre. What I was actually telling Tom was that I too busy for this and other priorities took my focus away from P90X or more importantly, my health. As I said earlier, I came slamming into my 40th birthday with fatigue, low motivation, sore muscles, aches and pains that made me feel aweful, but I kept doing the same ole stuff and to no avail. In 2009 I decided that "New Years' resolution" was to GET HEALTHY, which was my 2008 resolution, ironically, but I did notta to achieve. Tom's wife, Denise Harper, my sister, and his son Jacob have both achieved amazing results with P90X, which has motivated me as well. I regret not listening to Tom last year when he was trying to coach me to get fit, but it is also GREAT to know that now he has left this incredible life changing gift that will forever keep us connected! He would be proud to know that I have taken a more active approach in getting healthy and I have to say my perception on YOGA has definitely changed. WOW!
Thank you Tom as you are always in our hearts!
