While working the past 3 months doing P90X, I also incorporated my own doubles 3-5 days a week with some P90X+ and crossfit workouts. I had always been a fit guy until an injury 3 years ago sidelined me. Over the next 2 1/2 years I was losing the muscle I had at 185 and it was turning into fat at 185. I was wearing 34 stretch pants that were cutting off my circulation, but I was determined to not buy anything bigger. I finally had my shoulder/bicep fixed with surgery in Dec 08. After rehabbing for a few months I figured it was time to try some working out. My wife and I started doing our own workouts and within a few weeks of starting I saw the P90X commercial, for about the 50th time, and mentioned it to my wife. I bought it and then decided to wait until we had 30 days of workouts under our belts before pulling it out. We started P90X in the garage at 5am; there were 7 of us that started. 3 of us finished it and 1 person did a little over half of it. The changes were SICK! I am down in 32's again and they are not cutting off my circulation. For this transformation story my wife says I should just put down that she says I am HOT. You can't beat that! I feel so much better and can't wait for the next workout. We decided we would just workout with the P90X DVD's and mix in some crossfit for a few weeks before starting P90X again. BUT, I ran into my coach’s website the other day and he was having a Fit Classes using Insanity last week, I went to 2 classes, 2 days in a row and am fired up about it. I now have a week to try to convince my wife that Insanity would be better for us, but more then likely we'll be pressing play with P90X again. Either way, we'll be hitting it and hitting it hard.
