As I approach my 50th birthday, I find myself newly single and ready to concentrate on me. The last few years have not been the best for me as far as fitness goes -- I broke my ankle in Feb 2005 that required surgery and plates, screws and pins. I had a second surgery in Dec 2005 to remove the hardware. While my ankle is doing much better, it has made it difficult to give it my all physically.

December 2006 -- partly because of breaking my ankle almost 2 years ago as well as some personal issues, I find myself in not so great shape. I've just moved into a new home and it was really difficult physically -- proof that I really need to get back on track and make it happen. My after pic is from 2004 and while I do not look like that now, I am keeping that pic up for inspiration to me and hopefully to others. I know that Beachbody programs really work -- as long as you work them!!! It takes hard work but it's so worth it. I am ready to re-start my journey with Beachbody.

May 2004 -- I finished up PHH Last Hurrah in early April right before heading to Mexico for 2 weeks. I only wore bikinis the entire trip. I felt and looked great. I started P90X on May 9 and can't wait to see the results I will get with this program.

February 2004 -- I have just passed the one year mark with beachbody products and completed a second round of P90. Due to some personal issues over the summer, I stopped exercising and eating right. Guess what happened? Yep, gained it all back. I got back on track in the fall and have now completed a second round of P90, losing 15 pounds. I am now moving on to PHH for a couple of rounds before taking on the X in May.
Summer 2003 - I have now completed P90 and have started on Slim In 6. I have to say that I just love beachbody and know that I will get that beachbody I so desire as long as I keep pushing play. I lost about 10 pounds on P90 and over 14 inches overall. I did gain a few pounds before starting Slim In 6 because I let my eating get out of control. Can you say .... lesson learned?? You bet.
