Limon, CO Hi,I'm John Balentyne Born in Illinois and lived in Indiana until I enlisted in the Navy in 1969. Went to San Diego for Boot Camp and Radioman Class A School. Qualified for BUD/S training and joined Class 59. To say it was hard is usually overstated, but we lost 78% of our class, who just quit. I was too scared to quit, didn't want to try to explain that for the rest of my life. Limon, CO Hi,I'm John Balentyne Born in Illinois and lived in Indiana until I enlisted in the Navy in 1969. I was too scared to quit, didn't want to try to explain that for the rest of my life. Graduated Feb 1971 and joined Seal Team One in Coronado, Ca. Spent some time in Europe and then left for Puerto Rico for my last duty station running the Diving Hyperbaric Chamber and diving everyday. Got out of the Navy in 1978 and moved to Colorado. Married Pamela Trimm in 1982 and have two children, Michael 24 and Kailyn 16. We now live in Limon, Co around 85 miles East of Denver. We have a 20 acre ranch with cows, horses, llamas, alpacas, chickens, dogs and cats. Started P90X from a infomercial in april of 2008. Did it for 80 days and developed tennis elbow that hurt like hell, so I quit. Bad move. Took me until June of 2009 to Bring it again. Now I will not stop ever. Did the Yoga again, and its still love hate relationship. Hate doing it, but love results. Need help with your fitness goals or just want to chat, jmbalentyne@yahoo.com. As of the Last of July 2009, I have started to do two to three different exercise programs each day and the results are encourging and also motivating. Wife and daughter have noticed the difference and can see the outline if my six pack, even if it still resembles a small keg. I ahve been run/walking and my trick knee seems to be holding up with the use of a knee brace. Still watch for those little telltale tweeks that say enough is enough, but I still enjoy my running. All for now, HooYah 59
