I just turned 23 years old and with that my daughter just turned 5. Pregnancy was only the start of my weight gain. I put on 72 lbs and lost about 55 only to put 25 back on. I am a nursing student at the local technical college. My activity level has gone down significantly in the past years and with that I've put on a lot of weight. I started my journey with Turbo Jam September 21,2008. The first 30 days I focused on just the learn and burn, however I hadn't really changed my diet much. These first 30 days were just a warm up for me. I lost 6 pounds but I could feel my body was stronger, I wasn't laying on the couch, dying to stay awake for the day. I feel alive again, I have energy! SECOND MONTH- I haven't made it through the 2nd month yet but I'm so excited. I've lost 10 pounds total off my starting weight + 2inches off my waist and 2 off my hips. I have changed my diet significantly but that came naturally with the excercise. I crave healthier foods. As far as workouts I haven't made it to the TJ cardio party yet, I do a combo of learn&burn with ab jam or 20 min cardio. On rest days I do pilates. I'm hoping to push myself to the 45 min cardio party by the end of this month! I know I'll make my goal of 15 pounds gone by the New Year! Can't wait to share more results with everyone!.......
