Was always interested in fitness. Unfortunately was not always interested in nutrition! Got very big into lifting heavy and gaining mass, and I loved hearing how much bigger and stronger I seemed. However, I didn't feel 'light' or quick at all. My flexibility from years back was virtually nil. Being a Police Officer, both of those factors are of great interest to me. A fellow cop mentioned P90X and I thought I'd give it a shot after a TON of research one night and not finding a bad word about it on blogs, message boards and anywhere else I could look. The before/after shots amazed me and I had to get it. Found a great amount of help on Beach Body's message boards and love it! I'm losing weight and feel better than I have in years. My abs have returned and I'm getting a ton of compliments. I won't lie - it feels good! I'm back at a gym with my old partner to gain size back but am still continuing with P90X to keep lean and absolutely sticking to the nutrition, this is the way to go folks!
9-17-09 Been Crossfitting for a month now. THIS IS BRUTAL! But, it kicks ass! Still watching the food and trying to help guys at work with their eating habits. I've started allowing a once-a-month 'cheat meal', as I'm told by some very experienced people that it will reboost your metabolism. That, and it kills off the craving when it comes! Still feeling great!

My transformation is not complete, make no mistake. But the fact that my abs are back (!!!) personally amazes me. I never thought I would see them again. I'm 34 and hadn't seen them since discovering beer at age 18. P90X is for REAL but you've GOT to change your eating habits. Believe me, NO ONE is a pickier eater than I, and I've managed to find ways around that issue. If I can succeed here, you all can also.
