Hi Everyone,
I am 41 years old and live in the San Francisco Bay Area with my wife of 19 years and 3 kids...actually it's more like 1 adult and 2 kids.
When I'm not at work, I spend lots of time at the ice rink either coaching a youth hockey team or teaching a beginning hockey class. My two sons (14 and 9) play ice hockey -- the 14 year old plays in Phoenix on a AAA level team; and my 9 year old plays for a local travel club. People say that our family is consumed with the sport and that might be an accurate statement.
This is the first performance weight loss system that I have ever tried. I've had numerous memberships to local gyms and own several pieces of exercise equipment but have failed to maintain my health and fitness with a disciplined regimen of diet and exercise. I'm like everyone else who can come up with a variety of "valid" reasons why I don't have time to workout. Sure, I'm on the ice at least 3 times a week, but there is a big difference between coaching and playing.
My goal with the P90X system is to achieve a level of fitness that I haven't seen in over 15 years and hope that a healthy lifestyle will help mitigate the effects of aging.
