I'm a jersey boy that has relocated to the south. I am currently doing p90x and I have had a great transformation already. By the end of May 2009 I reached a weight of 245lbs, I built myself soley for strength and mass. Problem was even though I was strong as an ox I had trouble doing the little things. I was slower than ever, my cardio conditioning was the worst its ever been, and Hey I'm Nick. I'm a jersey boy that has relocated to the south. Problem was even though I was strong as an ox I had trouble doing the little things. I was slower than ever, my cardio conditioning was the worst its ever been, and most of all I started to have flexibility problems and was ruining my range of motion. Now coming from a backround filled with sports and athletics, this was not where I wanted my body to be. I am not a bodybuilder, I am an athelete and I lost focus on that last year. Trying to go back to the gym and change my whole routine around was extremely difficult, I just could not bring myself to get on the treadmill and run. I have known about p90x for sometime so I figured I would give it a try. I was beyond skeptical but after the first week, hell after plyometrics on day two, I knew this program would change my body, and my life for that matter. This program has changed me in so many positive ways, nutrition, health, cardio, tone, and I still can throw 265lbs up. I was under the impression that I would sacrifice strength if I lost weight. Well let me tell you! From my shoulders to my toes I am more complete, my core is stronger than ever, my balance and coordination has also improved greatly. I feel I owe Tony Horton and Beachbody so much at this point. The programs they offer, the constant push from the trainers, the help from beachbody.com and the community they have created. Beachbody is a portal to a lifestyle of the purest, most raw health and fitness you will ever find aside from working with these trainers personally. I mean its crazy a couple of hundred bucks, I was fully furnished for p90x, I had my nutrition, supplements I was ready to go! And now I have this program the rest of my life, how could you beat that! A personal training session with Tony or Shaun will cost you the same, and thats an hour! | ||||||||
