Lets see! I am a mother of two...Daughter 15yrs old and a Son 2yrs old. I am currently a partner in a small restaurant/snack shop on the islands. All thru my high school years I was skinny and tall. Never had a problem with weight. If I think back now it was because I was always active never lying around doing nothing. If I think back now it was because I was always active never lying around doing nothing. I was raised in New York and moved to Hawaii to visit family 22 yrs ago and never left. Since living in Hawaii I just kept gaining. You would think I would maintain a healthy body with the beautiful beaches but no..instead I got lazier. Over here all you do is drive from one place to another...nothing is walking distance. That is where it all began. Then there is the plate lunches...delicious rich but evil things....Back home in New York I never drove anywhere..either walked, rode a bike or took the train..and walked some more....Thinking back that is what kept me in shape cause the food I ate over there was plenty pasta and rice.....I don't think I ever had a healthy diet.
This is going to be a challenge and a life altering change to get me to change my eating habits and lifestyle.
I tried many different diets and exercises and as they did ok and I was losing weight..something always happened. I got sick and got lazy...then I would eat what ever I wanted to put food back in the belly after not eating for days...then never get back in to the exercising again....gained it all back...done that for the last 15 yrs....never looked the same after my daughter was born...and it is all in the mid section. Until the last 6-7yrs...it is falling everywhere else. Unfortunately nothing fell in my butt area...which that is where I needed it most since I don't have one. So it is hard for me to find pants that I am comfortable wearing. Tight around the belly and it still looks like its on the hanger from the back....LOL....but true.....the only thing I got there is wider...sad.....I want to lose my weight, get into shape, get in a bathing suit and get back on the beach which I use to love being at everyday after work...its been years cause I won't put a bathing suit on and be seen in public. I have contained myself to work and home and shopping for the restaurant....go to movies...thats it.....I so want to do more!!!
I need help and support... I don't get it at home...they have seen me fail constantly and they just don't think I can do it.
I know I can I just have to stick with it...
The 10 minute trainer sounded so positive and workable....I did my first exercise today, 10/19 and it was grueling...that is when I realized that I really need to get up and get motivated....I need to do this for myself...I am trying to keep the focus on myself cause alot of my personal life is in shambles...so if I focus on myself and get myself healthy and happier then things will start falling into place.
Here begins the journey of my future........so let it begin now! Wish me luck cause I need it!!!

I am starting again. At this time I am overweight, miserable, depressed and very lonely in my skin. I have very little self esteem and it bothers me that I have put myself into this position where I let myself go like this. Chalk it up to unhappiness and you know what I am so tired of living this way it has to change. The photo with me and my kids made me realize how out of control I am. Today is the day to start...day by day it will be my challenge. I want this so bad now to get my body up to sync with my mind....
