My transformation story starts in the fall of 2004. At that time, I was 22 and had been at my current job for a year and a half. I had always been into working out and trying to stay fit. Although this never came easy for me, I always tried to do the best I could.

Growing up, I always had the coordination for the sports I played but I was far from being the most physically active looking kid on the team. I even struggled with this during high school. I had the skills and coordination, but lacked the physical presence and athleticism to go with it.

I went on to college and like most college guys, I didn't care much about working out. That was a big downfall in my goal to stay healthy and fit. I eventually forced myself to join and gym and continued to workout most every day.

Then came Thanksgiving 2004. I had been getting severe headaches in the preceding weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. The pain was so bad that I would have to stop what I was doing and just sit down. They even go so bad it would make me sick. I knew something wasn't right but I toughed it out for almost a month before finally going to the doctor.

After having a CT scan and an MRI, I was told that I indeed had a brain tumor. Being 22 I thought there was no way this was possible. I was wrong. Although it was a benign tumor(didn't feel like it), it was still a very serious matter.

After going through surgery and a week's recovery at the hospital, I was finally able to get back home. That was only the start of my bodies demise. Since I was still recovering, I was not able to work out for 2-1/2 months. That amount of time was devastating to what I had been trying to accomplish fitness wise.

When the time came around to where I could workout again, I found that I had no desire to do it. I had no energy and all I wanted to do was be lazy. I had ballooned up to 206 lbs. And trust me, that weight on a 5' 11" frame does not look good. After seeing a picture of myself at that weight I was in shock. I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I look terrible!'. That's when I decided I had to do something about it or I was never going to recover.

I started going back to the gym and working out every day, but I just wasn't seeing the results that I wanted or desired. That's when my girlfriend told me about P90X. I had heard some stories about the program and I wasn't sure if it was for me. But I knew my gf wanted to do it so I told her I would do it with her. That my friends, is the best choice I've ever made.

After doing P90X the first time I felt amazing. It has given me the results I always wanted and definitely exceeded my expectations.
We have now finished RevAbs and are back to P90X. I know that if these programs can work for me, they can certainly work for you. So join me in reaching the health and fitness goals that we all want to achieve.
