Im 31 years old and have been working as a tattoo artist for the past 13 years. I am happy to report that I LOVE my career and have happily devoted most of my focus and energy to it, a wonderful thing for my work but not such a great thing for my fitness and health which have always suffered the consequences of long hours and years of surviving on take out food. Lots of late nights working followed by keeping up with the 'boys' out at the bar have been great for my psyche but not so good for my waistline...I have been up and down in weight, health, and size for as long as I can remember. Incessantly fighting with the same 40 lbs.YUCK!!! The funny thing is...even at my worst shape I would find myself surprised when I looked in the mirror, like in my mind I'm still the 40lb thinner version of me just trapped in a fat suit. HA!

I have always been a person who really enjoys physical activity and healthy eating but my problem has always been with consistency and staying motivated through the hard times. I have a tendency to go balls to the wall and then sabotage myself in the home stretch.. but NO MORE OF THAT!! I started p90x in August and got about 50 days into it...loved it!! I was seeing results and feeling great.

Unfortunately right about that time I suffered an unrelated foot injury which made me have to stay off my foot for about two moonths...so I started feeling sorry for myself and put all the weight and goo back on :(

As soon as I was cleared by my Doctor I got ready to do the Insanity series which I am happy to report I started on January 4 of this year! I am now more determined than ever to finish and plan on going back to p90x after I get my self jump-started with Insanity for 60 days. I am ready to end this rollercoaster once and for all and move on with my life already!

Soon when I walk past a mirror I will recognize myself again and I JUST CANT WAIT!!!
