I am almost 25 years old and happily married. I am an art director at an advertising job, which leaves me stressed and seated at a desk most of the day. I am a stress snacker and also someone who usually hates physical activity. I'm highly involved in my church and also love to sing. This is the place to show my progress in my weight loss story, becoming an active person instead of a sedintary

Since I got married in 2004 I'd gained about 25-30 pounds of "happiness/comfort fat" i called it! I started becoming really depressed about myself and tried a few different diets but nothing was working for me. I've always hated exercise. I never played any sports in high school or did anything active.

In summer of 2005, we bought an elliptical but it's performance was shaky at best. Then I began walking with a friend of mine and trying to watch my diet while she was doing weight watchers. I became increasingly frustrated at my lack of progress... so I was looking for another option. One Saturday morning I saw an infomercial for TurboJam. It looked so fun and interesting, i spent my money on it because I just thought, I'm at that point! i need to invest in some money and care about my body. I was scared I'd hate it and had wasted my money.

When I received my dvds, I was so excited. I started doing Turbo Jam. It was hard at first but all of a sudden I started to LOVE It and I started telling everyone about it. After a few months, pounds started melting off. I've lost almost 30 since the beginning of 2006, and I'm still working on getting more fit. In summer of 2006, I started experiencing some severe lower back pain and other problems, but I pushed through it, strengthening my core and back doing physical therapy and Turbo Jam.

I love Chalene and the Turbo team, and everyday I get excited to sign into WOWY and do my TJ workout or walk or elliptical. Finding a workout that actually makes ME, RACHEL, want to exercise was worth every penny and every bead of sweat. I am seriously a different person now after this program.
