I am no newbie to fitness and nutrition. In February 2002 I realized I weighed 239 lbs and was a size 22. I felt horrible and could hardly get out of bed. At that time I forced myself to start a healthier lifestyle through nutrition and low impact workouts. Over the next 18 months I lost about 100 lbs. and got down to a size 4. Over the years I faced some serious health issues like thyroid cancer and knee surgery. Combine those issues with being a full time college student and single mom who was short on time and my weight started to creep up. I found myself wth about 25 lbs. to lose again.
