I have always led an active lifestyle with my husband and two teenage kids. We love to camp and hike, ride bicycles, walk, exercise to aerobic DVD’s, lift weights and even ride off-road motorcycles. I’ve also been a juvenile/type 1 diabetic for 42 years. My diabetes has always been under very good control with my hemoglobin A1C’s in the six percentile but my commitment to exercise and maintaining a healthy weight level have been up and down all my life. As my weight and eating habits change my insulin requirements also change. I have found that my diabetes and insulin requirements are not an issue, it’s my overall health. I worry about the complications that can set in with years of not maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Depending on what is going on in my life my weight can increase or decrease from 5 to 20 pounds. Over the last six months or so I’ve once again put the weight back on. I’m tired of being on the weight yo-yo and I’m ready to be consistent with good eating and exercise habits. It’s going to be great to finally toss all my “fat” clothes away! I’m ready to achieve my target weight of 115 pounds, tone my body, eat healthy and have fun with my family exercising to the Beach Body exercise programs. Thanks to my Million Dollar Body Coach and Beach Body I have the products and the support system to keep me on track.
