Hi, I'm Ronni from Omaha NE....GO HUSKERS! As I approach my next birthday, the big 3-5, I am happy to be where I'm at in my life. With a 4 yr marriage ending in divorce at 26, I made sure to accomplish the things that were important to me. After finishing my graduate school, my health and weight is the one thing I have never been able to gain control of. I think I've been in denial for a long time. I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself. I can still see the girl that was so active in sports, strong and confident. I want to reconnect with her. My boyfriend Andy is wonderful and has supported me in all of goals. In the next year I see us getting married and ready to start a family. I've been on some kind of diet for as long as I can remember, and always felt self conscious about my weight. I'm tired of shopping in plus size stores and never really enjoying what I wear....including a swimsuit. I no longer want to feel out of breath when I climb a flight of stairs, take the elevator, or feel like I'm sitting on the sidelines while everyone else does an activity. I'm ready to take control of my eating, and replace my bad habits with good ones, exercise to feel good about myself, and build a better me. I'm ready to tackle this challenge...bring it on!
