Ventnor, NJ I have been overweight since I was a child I was never into sports but loved watching sports, always wishing I would be as slim as all those athletes. I have tried many workouts but looking to what's going to take all this fat away and give me the look of healthy and fit. I am learning a lot about food I am learning not love food, but to just utilize it as fuel. I am learning a lot about food I am learning not love food, but to just utilize it as fuel. It is hard because any gadering of people usually involves food. Habits can be changed and so can my body and that's my quest. I have a loving husband that supports my efforts tremendously. I have made many changes in our diet and without sounding to obsessed with gaining weight and nutrition I am teaching my son to make the right choices I not only tell him to stay away from sugary treats but can tell him why and the effects of it. I think he is understanding. I went shopping and bought less of the unhealthy foods and started cooking the good ones, he has been eating it. Once in a while I make something that I know he really wants and this keeps him and me not feeling deprived, I eat smaller portions of what I shouldn't have and I have to say I am so surprised of how are diets are changing. He makes healthier choices even when I am not with home.
I bought for my son "Tony and the Kids" DVD exercises and he loves it. He doesn't seem to get tired of it. Some times I throw a bonus workout on my schedule and I do this DVD with him. It's a great way to share some fun, wacky time with my son.
I will update later my most recent pictures. For now I have to say It is getter better and better.

I have attempted to do this program a few times. I achieved great results in my first try by day 30. Then lost a few more the next 30 days, but was not so motivated. I reached 186 pounds More...
I have attempted to do this program a few times. I achieved great results in my first try by day 30. Then lost a few more the next 30 days, but was not so motivated. I reached 186 pounds more than I weighed when I was 9 months preg with my son. Since June of this year 2008 I have been working on controling my eating habits and learning a lot first month and half I lost 10 pounds. Controlling my eating alone is a great accomplishment but since I love to exercise I knew I had tu turn to beachbody workouts started alternating TurboJam with walking/jogging and by the end on august had lost 20 pounds which was the goal I set for myself before attempting anything big. Big like P90X big! Then I became a $1k wowy winner and it was like the green light. I ordered my p90x and a week into it I am looooooving it! Can't wait to see my new transformen body by New Years.
