My Photos | sassiegurl Anchorage, AK well, it's been a while since i've been here....i am a month past my 46th birthday and back up to 170 lbs. Am trying to re-commit myself to eating right (not usually a problem) and exercising daily which has been hard due to physical and emotional issues. I just need to get my head wrapped around this and do it.....but then the morning comes! But summer is upon us - and i want to be out well, it's been a while since i've been here....i am a month past my 46th birthday and back up to 170 lbs. I just need to get my head wrapped around this and do it.....but then the morning comes! But summer is upon us - and i want to be out enjoying it! Join me in working out in the morning, afternoon, or evening - whenever you can fit it in with the Alaska Timezone!! I'd love to hear from you and am open to suggestions for different things or different times!! ***After all, Variety is the key to success**** (written just before my 45th bday:) i'd like to be as healthy as i was at 25 - actually, i wasn't very 'healthy' then, so i'd like to be BETTER than i was at that age ;) (like a rogue diary) I'm 44 now - just had a birthday; married with no children at home. I work, my husband is currently between jobs due to a physical setback. I live in Alaska and want to lose about 50 lbs. Summer's coming and it's time to be outside more - i need to rehabilitate my knees in order to begin biking and running again. It has been WAY too long and I want that skinny, healthy gurl back!! 04/01/09: due to some serious health issues and emotional setbacks, i am once again weighing in at 170 lbs. i have no energy nor desire; doctor's are running tests for chemical imbalances. I really need some help. 09/17/07 UPDATE: finished the 90day challenge and didn't reach my 'ultimate' goal, but just being committed to something for this long was a challenge i met and truly enjoyed! Look at the difference in the pics ... the challenge now is two fold: 90 days of "Anything Tony" and "Heading thru the HoliDAZE" which is 120 days of just doing better every day........ i love all my friends that i've met on the threads and they have become my true family not only in this mission but for a life-long change....i know they will always be a part of me for the rest of my life! I am now officially through the first 3 weeks of solid Slim in 6! We took a 2 week trip in which i didn't do the workouts - but i ATE healthy! - and then several weeks of not being consistent put me back up to 172 :( I joined the 90 day challenge by Carl D and found a great group of supportive peeps to chat with. Keeping track of exactly what i eat so I know when I need to eat MORE (little or no eating is a real problem for me) and the pounds are slowly coming back off, but LOOK at those inches!! in these 3 weeks, i've lost 1.5 off my waist PLUS .25 off each arm, AND 1.5 off the upper thighs!! Even .25 off the calves - hips and gut are going too....I am really excited about the next three weeks as i move into phase three and start BURN IT UP! I also supplement my Morning routine with an evening walk/run and weightlifting....My long term goal is to be down to 125 by next Feb for my 45 b-day; short term is to down to 150 by Labor day ..... I started out with Shaun's HipHop Abs; while it was fun, I didn't really feel like I was getting a workout so I ordered both Power90 and the SlimIn6. P90 is a little too bouncy for my poor knees, but SI6 seemed to be just right - challenging but i could do it. My husband has even been joining me every morning and I have a regular group of success buddies that WOWY together - I've seen the first "10" come off - plus the inches - which just MAKES you want to keep going. Next Step: Pictures *sigh* PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED: LOL - well I transformed myself from 120 lbs to 175 after 15 years of marriage and raising 4 kids! Now i've ordered Shaun T's HipHop Abs and can't wait for them to arrive - I had great success with the Atkins diet when single but found that doesnt work for a family nor do i like cutting out all the fruit! so i'm trying to live by the Pyramid and just keep it balanced, forcing me to rely more on exercise to drop the weight.
