Hello,
I am a 34 yr old mother of two, and happily married to a soldier. I use to be
one myself for 13 yrs up until March 07. Then I got out and let myself go,
plus I was working all the time, and with the husband working evening shift,
I was always having to take care of the kids, oh and to add to all that stress I
started on-line classes to get a degree in Criminal Justice. So as you can see
working out was not going to happen. So for a year I did not work out, and
then I stopped smoking and I gained 20 -25 pounds and I also realized I
wanted to rejoin my fellow soldiers, so going to the MEPS-Military Entrance
Point, and getting told that I was over weight for the army standards, I
knew that was my kick in the butt to start working out. That is when I woke
up the next day to my TV being on Tonys 10 minute trainer, and I knew that
was my sign. I did the 10-minute trainer, but I needed a steady kick butt
workout, so I knew I had to make up the time, and get up at 0400 in the
morning.
Well it is now Day 52, and as for joining the Army. I actually swore back in on
a beautiful, rainy Friday the 13th of March, into the Army Reserve (New way
of life, since I was always Active Army). I still dont want to get back on to the
scale, but I can tell in my stomach area that I feel like it is getting small.
As for my schooling, I graduated with an Associates in Criminal Justice, and
on the 25th of March I will start back up continuing on into my Bachelors. So
alot has happened, but with each new day I am hopeful that sometime the
weight will start showing on the scale, but if I can tell in just looking at my
body, then that will be fine too!!! Lets keep pushing play!
