My story begins like many others. After following the latest trend in weight loss, I managed to plateau and lose hope. The end result? Gaining the weight back. Time and again I went through this struggle. It was emotional, frustrating, and pocket-depleting. Remember the low-carb trend? Been there; done that. But when I heard about how Europeans tend to eat considerably less at the dinner table, it struck me - the American diet has been conditioning me since I've been old enough to eat! My first step was to reduce the amount of food I ate and to eat slowly (for many French people, eating is more of an event). After the weight started melting off, I then picked up an exercise routine. This consists of running on a treadmill at least three times a week for about 35 minutes at 4.1 mph at an incline of 6. I built it into my getting-ready routine (because I hate mundane exercise!). But this way I can treat it like brushing my teeth or hunting for pants to wear. To date, I've lost over 80 lbs and I feel great! Not only that, but my lifelong struggle with asthma is over. No sooner did I start doing cardio exercising that my asthma vanished with the fat. What a fringe benefit! What it all boils down to is what your doctors have been nagging you about all this time - diet and exercise! And now with Million Dollar Body, I'm able to network with other like-minded people and to offer tips on food and exercise routines.
