Currently I am 47 years old. I have been involved in business since I was 18 years old. I started and still own a gym in which I still teach Martial Arts. In the late 80s I opened and operated one of the first Subway restaurants in Eastern Kentucky. Later I opened a commercial cleaning franchise. Then in 2004 I started a real estate investment company. In August of 2008 I quit teaching martial arts because of hip pain and the need for a total hip replacement. Already overweight, I soon gained even more. November of 2008 I herniated 7 disks in the cervical spine area and two small fragments broke off and lodged between the nerves controlling my right arm. It was like a constant toothache. On December 26,2008 I had sugery to remove the fragments from my spine. By that time I weighed 203 pounds. February approached and I could not do a single push up. Then some one said, I guess you won't be able to do martial arts ever again. That was my breaking point. I started p90x torward the end of March. At that point I was in the worst shape of my life, not bieng able to do a single push up. I could only use bands at first to replace the chin ups\ bar. I can tell you this, by all means I had every excuse in the world to retire as a couch potato, but I did not let that become an option. My current wieght is 170, resting heart rate 47. P90x took me to a 360 degree turn. It has not only helped me to lose wieght, but has swept away any depression I had from my injuries. Did I tell you I started back teaching Martial Arts as well? Oh, by the way, with the weight off plus the added strength to by legs and core, it's like I got a new hip with out the surgery. Oh yeah, Cheaper too!!! P.S. I not only can do a push up now, but well over 100 and chin ups are no problem. The Beachbody coaching opportunity has brought the two things that I have always had a passion for, Health/Fitness and business. If your interested in Health and wealth you have come to the right place. Thank You,
Coach

As a martial arts instructor I've alway tried to stay in shape. A few years ago a specialist said I needed a total hip replacement. I decided to prolong the surgery after consulting with my family and another doctor. I steadly gained weight, which was the opposite thing that I needed to happen. In August of 2008 after having taught for nearly 30 years, I retired from teaching martial arts. Soon after, my weight increased again. I tried to make a rapid comeback and injured myself with 7 bulging disks in my cervical spine. Two had broken off and lodged against the nerves of my right arm which created tremendous pain. The day after Christmas I had surgery to remove the broken off particles lodged on the nerves. Two months later my chest had sunken in on the right side and I could'nt even do a push up. Talk about depression! Then some one came up to me and said I guess you can't do martial arts anymore? Well, anyone that knows me would know that did not set to well with me. I started p90x in March. I have went from 203 lbs to 170 lbs. From no push ups to over 100. I have elimated my depression as well. Just push and play. I started the p90x recovery drink and Shakeology as well. I have always taken supplements, but Beachbodies are awesome unlike any other on the market. As a Beach body coach you get paid twice, one by getting in shape and better health,(how can you put a price on that.) two, by helping others get in shape. How much more can you ask? Oh, I almost forgot, I started teaching again, my hip feels great after taking off the weight and stregthening my legs and core. Thanks Beachbody!
