Washington, DC Sheila Weaver, I have over 20 years experience in sports, fitness and athletics. Ms. Weaver holds a B.S.E. from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and a M. A. in Health and Physical Education from Kent State, University in Kent, Ohio. A health and physical education teacher and coach. For 19 years I worked at Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC and earned numerous local and national Sheila Weaver, I have over 20 years experience in sports, fitness and athletics. Ms. Weaver holds a B.S.E. from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and a M. A. in Health and Physical Education from Kent State, University in Kent, Ohio. A health and physical education teacher and coach. For 19 years I worked at Sidwell Friends School in Washington DC and earned numerous local and national awards for her accomplishments as a coach of girl´s volleyball. Some of my awards include Washington Post Volleyball Coach of the Year, a cover story on American Volleyball Coaches Magazine and recognition as Private School Volleyball Coach of the year by the Women's Sports Foundation. During that time my my girls team was ranked was ranked by USA Today among the top twenty-five teams in the country. In 1995 I founded a non profit organization, The Academic and Athletic Alliance and hope to turn my attention toward health and fitnesss programs for youth. I have also begun to relaunch my social network for active girls and women, www.SheLovesSports.com which is designed to connect girls and women of all ages so that they may share information and and build relationships. I have just assumed the Head Volleyball Coaching position at the University of the District of Columbia where I plan to continue to expose students, faculty and friends to the Beach Body program.

This year I will turn 60 years of age and I have recently been faced with several health challenges. As a health and physical education, teacher and coach I had begun to take my health for granted. It is time to apply the principles of health and the beach body program to jump start myself and help others realize it never too late to be the best you can be. Each day I use the beachbody mantra "decide, commit, succeed" to keep my focused on path to a better and healthier me.
