Although I have been somewhat interested in health/fitness since I was a teenager, I never knew what it took to be healthy and fit. Of course, that was because I was an active teenager, and weight never became such an issue. All I had to do was workout hard for a couple of weeks, and I'd see a noticeable difference!

Then I turned 25. My body was not responding how I expected to even after a few weeks of what I THOUGHT was working out hard and eating right. I gained 20 lbs. I was the same weight my mom was when she was pregnant with me! I told my mom, "There MUST be something wrong with my thyroid". She said "It's not your thyroid! You just eat too much!" lol!

My boyfriend bought me p90x in June, and he says this is the BEST 140 bucks he's ever spent! I have tried all kinds of fitness/diet programs, and this was the only thing I was able to stick with for the whole 90 days and more! I not only changed physically, but now I'm always in a good mood, more energetic, and confident! This program has taught me so much - now I REALLY know what it takes to be fit. I've permanently changed my eating habits, and I feel like a new person. The old Michelle was a human garbage can, and was known for it! Working out has become a part of my daily life. In the beginning it was tough, I had to find ways to motivate myself to workout and eat right - I did it like it was my JOB! All I wanted was to fit into my old 'skinny' clothes again! Now I'm on my 2nd round of p90x, I passed my goal, and created a new goal to lose 10 - 15 more lbs! I can't go without my workouts, it's just like brushing my teeth (Well, almost!). Anyone can do it, you just have to want it as bad as I did!
