As a high school biology teacher I tend to be somewhat workaholic. But I do
make time for my favorite things including playing ice hockey, going out with
friends, and traveling.
I've been playing ice hockey since college (over 10 years ago)...but back then I
was skating 5-6 days a week for two hours/day. Now I play 2 hours a week
which means I have to supplement with other forms of exercise.

I really enjoy competitive team sports and dancing, but have a really hard
time motivating myself to jump on the treadmill or go for a long run on my
own -- I just get bored! I also find I need some sort of external
accountability -- if I have an appointment with a friend or a team counting
on me, I will always show up. Otherwise, my best intentions become just that,
intentions instead of actions.
