Native Texan, married 23 years to a Native Texan, we are rare. Son 23,
Daughter 21. Grewup being the skinny kid with average athletic ability.
Played soccer in Jr. College, continued to play as an Adult, Coach competitive
teams and Referee all ages. Married in Aug 1985, weight 195, age 26. Age
30, hit 225, not as active due to family and job. Started playing soccer again
but only maintained the weight gain. Age 40, another weight gain, 240 lbs. I
stopped playing as much when my Son began playing in College, thus began
another weight gain, 260+. Jan 2008 went to the Dr as I was losing weight,
down to 240+, diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, high
cholestrol. Changed my diet, began to exercise at the gym, down to 228 -
230, but continue to stay there until, another weight gain. Sons wedding, job
and family stress, back to 238. Decided that the gym did not keep me
focused and saw the P90X infomercials, tried the fitness test but did not met
the results I wanted. I went with the Power 90 to begin my life changing
experience, began 10/16, weight 236. Look forward to the 30, 60, 90 day
updates.

30 Day Update
Weight 227, lost 9 lbs, Chest 46, Waist 43, Hips 44.5, total inches lost 4.5, Body Fat 34.7%. I have been pretty consistant on diet, but will miss few day in a row of exercise. It is difficult to get moving and motivated in the morning, I look forward to getting home to workout but with unknown job status and layoffs around the corner, just mentally exhausted when getting home. However, the results are better than expected. Coworkers continue to comment that that I am getting thinner.
