Oklahoma City, OK I'm 42 years old and have been increasingly out of shape for nearly 20 years. I started out strong in my early to mid 20's - I worked out nearly every day, and took aerobics and dance classes. I rode my bike to work and danced at the clubs about 5 nights a week. I was in great shape! Then life happened, and all the activity stopped pretty abruptly. My eating stayed the same, though... and the I'm 42 years old and have been increasingly out of shape for nearly 20 years. I was in great shape! Then life happened, and all the activity stopped pretty abruptly. My eating stayed the same, though... and the pounds started coming on. Slowly at first, but then I was really packing them on by my late 30's. I hit the #200 mark last year - that was the limit I had set in my head... I saw the ad for P90X and finally decided to commit to something. I'm 5'4" and weigh #215. I'm aiming for my ultimate goal of #135. I know it won't happen overnight. I'll probably have to run through the program a few times... but every day that I move and do *something* is progress, right? I'm ready to bring it!

Just starting day 7 of P90X and have already lost 5 lbs. and 3" off my waist! Wow! And... I feel fantastic! I've got a long ways to go, but this is ENCOURAGING!!! Okay Update! It's day 15 More...
Just starting day 7 of P90X and have already lost 5 lbs. and 3" off my waist! Wow! And... I feel fantastic! I've got a long ways to go, but this is ENCOURAGING!!! Okay Update! It's day 15 and I've lost 6 lbs., 7.8% body fat, 6" from my waist and 2" from my hips. I like this progress!
