I recently hit the worst shape of my life as well as the highest weight. In January I weighed 220lbs. I am now 188lbs. I have owned P90X for 2 years and never opened the box. I am finally committed to do this (I start August 2nd). I am recently married to an energetic, athletic, great woman. She loves to play sports such as Ice Hockey and Tennis, she also loves biking and hiking. She is motivating I recently hit the worst shape of my life as well as the highest weight. We recently had our first child, so at 36 I better start going if I am going to keep up with my younger family members.

I knew I would need to get back into some kind of shape prior to using the P90X program. I know there are hurdles, aches and pains; but I have passed a couple of those up already. I have lost a total of 30lbs so far and I feel great. I am starting P90X on August 2nd and I am looking forward to getting into great shape! ****4 Days to start day**** 7/25/09-I am getting very excited; only a week away. I am currently down to 185lbs. I know it is not only about the weight loss, but I feel so much better. Higher levels of energy, fitting back into old clothes, etc. Preparing for the P90X program is tiring in itself; so I am interested to see how much this program will kick my butt! I will update during the first week. 7/28/09-Received all supplements today; getting ready to bring it! Very excited. This Saturday I will get all measurements completed and fitness stats. I am looking forward in seeing massive improvements. Outstanding! 8/2/09-D-day. Just bought a mat and will be starting day 1 here within 2 hours. Will update after workout. --WOW! I am glad I got into some kind of shape before starting this program. I realize that it will take discipline to finish this race, but I am ready to keep on bringing it. 8/20/09-WOW! Well I am almost finished with week 3 and all I can say is I am tired, feeling week but also getting stronger?? I am staying at a constant 185lbs, but looking leaner. The eating takes discipline as well. It is not easy while working and having to travel once in a while, being off site at a customer’s location, rushing back to work to eat. I may bring a small cooler to take food with me if needed. I know I have to be strict with the diet and eating times. I have missed a meal here and there, so I decided to purchase the meal replacement this go around. It just seems like I am always eating! I am unable to finish some of the exercises to 100% completion, but do my best. . I am thinking of starting the doubles on phase 2, I love cardio. I am glad I am doing this program. I will post my 30 day photo next Saturday. Talk to you then.
