I have been in Sales for 8 years or so, and the job can be very demanding and stressful. In 2006, I noticed I was about 35 pounds heavier than I should be. I decided to do something about it. I began doing Turbo Jam in June 2006, and lost the 35 pounds and got in great shape. I have maintained the weight loss since then, however wanted to "step it up" a little and get really toned. I have always been a runner, and more cardio, never working with weights. I didn't want to get big or bulk up as the stereotype goes. The first resistance training I did was Turbo Sculpt and I saw amazing results from that. I had borrowed a couple of p90x videos from a friend, (Legs/Back, Arms/Shoulders) and was running one day and doing those videos the following about 4-5 days per week. I was maintaining but not getting where I'd like to be. So I took the step of purchasing the p90x program and dedicating myself to a 90 day journey. I want 6-pack abs by my birthday on August 11, 2008. Wish me luck! I have changed my diet a lot, mostly just throwing out any processed foods like Lean Cuisine, etc. and using the Portion Program of P90x. I have also never done protein shakes or supplements as much, and am really giving that a go. | ||||||||
