I started Power90 on August 24, 2004. I was never in good shape but thin off
& on as long as I can remember. Around the end of junior high I started
making myself throw up - I never felt good about myself so I thought bulimia
would help me look better which would help me see myself better - DIDN'T
WORK! I tried to not throw up but then I would gain weight, which caused
depression, which caused me to throw up – it was a vicious cycle! After
graduation I went the opposite route, only eating once maybe twice a day &
worked out hard. I got down to 110 pounds - I thought I was healthy because
I was thin...WRONG! I got pregnant & had to start eating again - eating again
caused weight gain - weight gain caused depression & the bulimia came back
full force. After having my last child I knew it was time to change things - I
did not want to go back to the old ways!! My husband saw the infomercial for
P90 one night and ordered it for me as a surprise. After my baby's first
birthday I knew it was time to start working on me. I weighed in at 183.5
pounds, which was bigger than when I gave birth to my youngest. My
husband bet me a trip to Cancun if I could get down to my goal weight and
do it HEALTHY! The results were awesome. I lost 3 pounds in the first week!
At the start of P90 all I wanted was to be thin, but my mindset has changed -
I want to be healthy & be able to keep up with my kids. I now do Turbo Jam &
Power90 – I love those workouts! Chalene & Tony make working out a PARTY!
I also take Performance Formula – it works! I have the extra boost of energy
to finish my workout strong with no funky side effects! The message boards
are awesome – my friends there have really kept me motivated all this time –
they are great. I am getting healthier, stronger and have tons more energy.
Chalene has brought out a funky, crazy side to me (my kids think I'm nuts
now cuz I dance around the house!) As for the bulimia, it ain't there
anymore...NO MORE (even when I do have a bad day)! I have beaten it! I feel
GREAT about myself! I honestly have never had this much self-confidence
before! I no longer look at THIN as being the way to be happy with myself -
being thin is nothing to me. I am happy NOW being healthy, being able to play
with my kids, having energy & liking myself! It feels so good to look in the
mirror like what I see! BeachBody is awesome - Tony & Chalene are
wonderful! Thanks to my husband for ordering P90, getting me started in
fitness, starting that healthier lifestyle and believing in me the whole time-
you are the best! Thank you all so much for not only helping me lose the
weight right, get healthy and feel good about myself (for the first time) but
for also helping me kick an eating disorder! **huge hugs** THANK YOU

OH YEAH I'M BACK AT IT BABY! After a rough spring & summer I have found
my way back to kickin' it. I've cleaned up my eating again & am now doing
P90X DOUBLES! I'm doing Turbo and the X daily and after 30 days I lost 11
pounds! yee haw! So I'm ready to keep going & see what I can do!
