I am 33, and teach Suzuki Violin lessons (Thus my screen name). I started P90X with my partner, and wow, what a difference. I am looking forward to the future in my improved body.

I began with P90x in July 2007, and all summer my partner and I did very well keeping up with the plan. Our diet was much more monitored, and the exercise happened daily. We saw huge improvements in energy and bodily strength. We were sleeping better, and eventhough sweaty and tired after working out so early each morning, with a P90x start to the day, we seemed to really improve our outlook on the day. We were more positive, and not as easily stressed out by the usual daily activites. I was feeling awesome after seeing my arm flap tone up, and my number of push ups go through the roof. After the school year began, it became impossible to get up that early and to have to go to bed so much later. Obviously my body lost it's strengh when stopping the morning P90x, but my weight stayed stable. I still was getting my 60 minute walk each morning with my dog in the woods. The end of January 2008 I began a raw food diet, and I have never felt better. My skin cleared up, I have even greater energy than before, and I am finding I have no patience to sit and watch a movie or tv. I want to get out and DO something. I've come up with a new time to exercise in the day, and I've begun Hip Hop Abs, Power Half Hour, 10-Minute Trainer and Ho ala ke kino so that no matter how little time I have in the day, I can do SOMETHING. I hope to get into P90x again, now that I have a new routine. Beachbody products rock! Since I began in July 2007, my weight has gone down 10 pounds! I never knew I could be 138. I thought I was a big boned body, but really I think I will look lovely at 130. I will be strong, and lean, and happy, just as I am now, but with no love handles. *smile*
