My real fitness journey began about seven years ago but I am still a work in progress. I got up one Saturday morning and realized that I could not get my pants on anymore and would have to get bigger ones. For me, that was going from a 33" waist to a 34" waist and I had never been that big before. I decided it was time to reverse this course and so I joined a local gym. I stuck with it and within about six months I was able to get myself back into 32" waist size pants again. I was able to maintain that up until October of 2007 and then I suffered a herniated cervical disc. This condition caused my right arm and shoulder to loose all of its strength and five months later I had to have surgery to fix it. I lost a lot of ground during that time since I had to teach my right arm to lift, push and pull all over again. It took better than a year for me to even get back on pace because nerves heal very slowly. In June on 2009 I finally felt like I was on the road to recovery but still needed an extra push to get results that I felt would be acceptable to me. I was introduced to Beachbody in September of 09 and now I am pumped again to see how I will transform myself again with this program.
