As a coach, I have successfully used Beachbody programs for the last 6 years to to lose and maintain my weight loss. I have also developed a love of running and often can be seen on late night runs with my puppy. I completed my first marathon last year YIPEE! The passion and desire to help others achieve what I have achieve has enabled me to become a strong coach in the company. I have not only built a big business for my family (coaching side by side with my husband), I have also retired other coaches by assisting them in building strong teams that have them earning full time incomes. This journey has many twists and turns, but know that here you will find a TEAM of support with motivating stories, a great sense of humor, and a genuine desire to see YOU succeed! Here is my story: I am a 10,000 dollar transformation contest winner for March 2007. I have been at my goal weight for almost five years. I am in the best shape of my life and REALLY look forward to helping you reach YOUR goals. I want you to feel healthy, fit, and accomplished. I am 36 year old married mother of 2. It is very important for me to model healthy behaviors for my children. I want them to grow up fit and healthy. Among other things I teach my children, I would love to know that I helped them to maintain a heathly lifestyle. Beachbody programs helped me to lose 35 pounds and keep them off for over 5 years. After I had my second child, I really wanted to get into shape and start a regular exercise regimen. I could live with my overweight body and my poor eating habits but, I couldn’t live with the fact that my behaviors were directly influencing my two children. I was suddenly confronted with a big decision of changing my lifestyle but, I didn’t know how. I tried the gym and a personal trainer. She was great but, the gym experience was too expensive and inconvenient. Ironically, the personal trainer at the gym told me I could reach my fitness goals in less than an hour just doing exercises in my home. I didn’t believe her and soon I learned how wrong I was. Late one night, I caught an advertisement for Power 90. Tony Horton offered me the 30-40 minute workout that I could complete in the comfort of my own home. I thought I’d give it a try. The first few weeks were hard. I was sore and slow. The day one photos haunted me. Could I have really become the person in that picture? By day 30, I was down 12 pounds and could really feel it in my clothes. The side by side photos were amazing to me. I couldn’t wait to post them on my thread for the community to see. I was far from my goal weight but, I was beaming with pride and ready to celebrate with my message board buddies. Day 90 was incredible. I found myself 23 pounds lighter and had gone from a size 14 to a size 6. The most surprising thing was that the previous year I had gotten down to 141 pounds by dieting and was a tight size 10. On day 90, I weighed in at 139 pounds and was wearing a comfortable size 6. The exercise was truly transforming my figure. The next program I tried was Slim in 6. By the end of the six weeks, I was down to a size 4 and had lost another 8 pounds. After that success, I tried Yoga Booty Ballet. I had so much fun dancing and sweating. I have completed P90X twice. I was in maintenance mode until recently when I moved from Washington state to Arizona. The move left me feeling lonely and isolated. In 9 months, I slowly gained back 10 pounds. My smaller clothes were becoming uncomfortably tight and that was my signal to get back on the program. Although I was embarrassed to admit it on the boards, I took day one photos all over again. I dusted off my 1/2 Power 90 DVD and pushed play. By the end of 90 days, I again had dropped 14 pounds. I was in better shape than the first time around. I was thrilled to share my new results on the boards. I truly have some of the most wonderful friends there. They are a support circle I can lean on anytime. I also get to meet new people in the MDB community as my goals shift from one program to another. Sometimes, I just shake my head in disbelief. I never thought I’d learn to love exercise, but, I love it! I finally live a healthier life. I love that my lifestyle is positively impacting my family. Anyone around me who wants to change their lives will hear me tell them to get a MDB program and never look back. I cannot thank you enough for creating these programs. Thank you, thank you!
