I've had a job change and caught up in hussle-bussle of life. Back on track with workouts and eating. It's amazing how time away makes your body yearn for more and it feels good to be working my body again. ~Update: 10.7.08: Wow, four months gone just like that! Let me tell you, if you are on again, off again, you are like many others; including myself! I have had some life changes and my needs and fitness took the back seat. Sound familiar? BB is an awesome place to be with like minded people and we all know it takes the sweat equity to look and feel better. I'm back on track and feeling great! I know these programs work so come on sweat, let's do this!!! ~Update: 5.30.08; June is around the corner! May started of strong for me to be knocked down and ot with a bad cold virus the last part of May. Looking forward to starting back up with HHA 2 again and try some Rockin' Body in the mix. ~Update: HAPPY MAY DAY! LOVED Hip Hop Abs - of course working out with Shaun T in Anaheim was a HUGE blast! I have done awesome with HHA2 and am sort of sad to go on - BUT can always look forward to doing it again! I lost 8.28 inches with HHA2 from 3/24 - 4/30! :D ~Update 3.31.08: Moving onto Hip Hop Abs - loved the workout while in Anaheim and looking forward to some fun! ~Update 3.17.08: Team Beachbody is HERE! I am doing Ten Minute Trainer - watching my knee issue and continuing working on my clean diet!! ~Update 3.2.08: had some setbacks in Feb with some back/hip issues persisting but must have stayed consistent enough to make a difference! From 1/30 to 3/2 I am down a total of 6 inches so back at my summer high of a total -27.51 inches gone since starting back to BB in Dec 06! I need more work on eating to see the scale move some in the next 30+ days. I am not as far off course as I thought I was and that in so encouraging. :) NOT GIVING UP! ~Update 2.12.08: Participating in Carl Deikler's 30 day challenge and back to P90. Enjoying the workouts and almost half way through the 30 days! ~Update 1.14.08: Started Slim Series today! Looking forward to the new workouts, variety and my eating habits. 12.19.07: My 1 Yr MDB Anniversary and charged more than ever! I am on SI6 with starting to work into doubles with Power Half Hour or P90. UPDATE- 12.5.07: Back to SI6 after some down time with back issues, surgery and LIFE. Simply, I was tired of looking like a hot air balloon. I was round and plump with extra weight everywhere! I turned 34 in December 2006 and I had been putting off my health concerns for at least four years. I knew heart disease and diabetes run in my family and my aches and pains were increasing. I had to do something, I was only 34. The morning of December 11, 2006 before work I saw the infomercial for Slim In 6. I watched the infomercial and called at the end to get one payment off and rush delivery, the sooner it arrived the sooner I could begin! I wasn’t even waiting for January 1st for a New Year’s Resolution; I wanted to be in a routine by then. I knew I could commit for six weeks, the low impact of the workouts really kept my interest and Beach Body was guaranteeing results, what did I have to lose? For me my first goal was to just push play, start moving my body and commit to working out. About four weeks in I decided to pay attention to the eating and low and behold I dropped five pounds in little over a week. I completed my Slim In 6 with 12.2 inches lost, down 9% body fat and the 5 pounds gone. I had some road traveling to do at the end of March and for the first time I could take my workouts on the road with me; I pushed play every day! Any other time it would have been a reason to fall of the wagon and give up. I arrived home and I was so proud of myself and it felt so good to have stayed on track with workouts and eating. First of April I decided to start Power 90; I just had to try it! I was doing great and the endurance and strength I built from Slim In 6 prepared me well. I had passed my midway point and ended up with a cold and chest cough, it knocked me out for three weeks. I was bummed but I had also read enough on the message boards to know my recovery needed to be just that recover and then start again. I’ve been back on track and pushing play since June 11th and now more than in the past my eating is an equal priority to pushing play and the results I’ve seen even this week have been encouraging and great. On the 25th of June I weighed 180.6 and by Wednesday morning I was down to 177.2; down 3.4 pounds! I was so happy to not only see my inches dropping but the scale as well. With June coming to an end I decided to check my measurements since I had officially hit the 20 pounds lost mark. I literally was tearing up while I was calculating my inches lost with the tally showing 26.5 inches. I am really doing this! I will succeed! Thank you MDB and BB!
