--- Here's my story (at least so far!) When I left Maryland for St Louis, MO, I was working out 4-5 times per week (90 min weight training, 90 min Aikido), bicycling, hiking, running, climbing, etc.
Due to a job change I found myself in St. Louis and discovered some wonderful pasta and pizza. Coupled with "road food" (I spent more time on the road than at home for two years), my weight jumped from 142 to 157 and I got very soggy. Yuck!
Then, last Thanksgiving, some of my family member's began to point out my protruding gut. Well, I got P.O.'d at myself and decided to do something about it - namely P90X!
I've recently found a job that doesn't have me traveling as much and I've joined a local Aikido dojo and finished one round of P90X and have begun my 2nd pass - it's awesome stuff!

What I was struggling through before and having to skip item, I am completing - with a little bit of grace! Pull-ups have gone from barely squeaking out three to 20! Push-up have gone from 20 to 40!
I've been continuing to learn about my diet - I've always (well, almost always) been eating healthy, but I've been getting the "when" wrong. I recently stopped eating about 90 minutes before a workout and 2-3 hours prior to sleep and started noticing my abs appearing! Small changes can lead to big results!
I'm looking forward to finishing out this round of P90X and trying the P90X+ program.
---> 90 days done! I'm very pleased with the increase in my strength and endurance, but I wish I paid more attention to the diet. I've just become a coach so I'm going to spend a week or two looking at some of the other Beach Body product - I'm most interested in the 10 minute trainer (for those really busy days and travel days), and P90X+ (I've just done the Total Body workout and it's great!)
My commitment to myself is to revisit (i.e. read, understand, plan, execute) the diet strategy and really make it work for me. I know that I'm going to have some issues with wanting to eat "comfort food" in the late evening when I'm winding down from the day. If anyone wants to throw in some words of encouragement, I'm all ears!
