My interests include martial arts, various sports activities, riding my motorcyle with my biking buddies and playing my not so physically demanding piano (which is quite a nice change from my other interests). I also have a passion for helping the less fortunate children in third-world countries and have travelled to poverty-stricken areas to help with providing much-needed food and supplies. My interest in physical activity began when, at age 19, I came across a movie called "Enter The Dragon" and it's then little known rising star Bruce Lee. That got me interested in martial arts and marked the beginning of my fitness journey. My martial arts experience (Taekwon-Do) boosted my self-confidence, stamina, endurance levels and my overall physical and mental well-being. My fitness level moved to a new level as I continued with my martial arts training and mastered the art to the black belt instructor level. Getting married, moving into a new home, becoming a dad and being self-employed took some steam out of my physical activities, including my martial arts career, as my priorities had quite obviously changed. I continued to train independently, albeit a much more subdued level, and got involved in various sports activities. After some physical setbacks and with stress continuing to mount from my family and business commitments, I became convinced that I needed to rebuild my fitness level. I joined a local fitness club several years back and experimented with fitness trainers and various resistance training programs. I soon added different nutritional programs into the mix. I found that my physical fitness levels had improved significantly. I had soon become determined to achieve the ultimate well-defined body. The programs I followed did manage to bring me to new levels of fitness allowing me to feel more like I felt many years back. However, I had yet to find the formula to achieve my ultimate goal of having a well-defined body. Some workout buddies introduced me to P90X and it's been home-based training ever since. I've completed two rounds of P90X and it's without a doubt the real deal. It has brought me to a whole new fitness level. And now I'm anxiously looking forward to becoming part of the ab revolution as I begin a 90-day RevAbs journey. I think my next level of fitness is now just around the corner. Work Hard!
