I'm an administrator in a very unique public school. I'm happily married to a former school teacher turned plumber and fitness fanatic. We have a blended family made up of four wonderful kids (all grown and on their own and I'm only 46!). My husband and I love to workout and keep a close eye on our diets. Fortunately for him he can pretty much eat whatever he likes and still stay in great I'm an administrator in a very unique public school. It's a bit more of a challenge for me to stay in shape but I love the way I feel! Read my transformation story. My journey to weight loss and good health still amazes me. I KNOW that if I can do it after living with 40 years of obesity that you can do it too!

I had been overweight my entire life. No, really. I was a 'fat' kid and an obese adult. The good news is I never knew what being thin felt like so I didn't live with the frustration of not being able to 'get back in shape' - I just was never there. My mother passed away when I turned 40. As my big Italian family met to remember my mother, we all sat around and ruminated on the various illnesses and ailments suffered by generations of our family. I realized if I didn't lose weight then at age 40 I would likely never be able to lose weight and at the same time guarantee for myself the same path of obesity and ill health as my family. I was determined. After a lifetime of crazy diets and failed attempts at exercise I finally took the healthy route to weight loss. With an intelligently designed diet and nutrition plan along with a realistic exercise program I actually lost weight! I went from a size 18 (I'm only 5'2") to a size 4 and have kept if off for 5 years! The number of health problems I have eliminated is amazing. I feel great and most importantly my self-esteemed has rocketed. I NEVER thought this type of transformation possible for me
