I have always been an athletic and rather fit guy, who worked out regulary
while I was a bachelor. I was in the best shape of my life at age 27. Once I
got married, I allowed myself to fall into the trap of becoming a bit of a
'couch potato'. My workouts fell off and my eating habits suffered as well,
marrying into an Italian family I found myself eating loads of pasta and
homemade pizza.

In October of 2007, I stepped on the scale and saw that the scale had tipped
242 after a long weekend. I did some serious soul searching and had been
watching Jason Scheff (lead singer of Chicago) transform himself using P90X
for a few months and happened to run across the informercial for P90X late
night on tv. So on 10/10/07, I made the move to make that Day 1 for the
rest of my life.
I started the program on 10/15/07 at 237 pounds of pure couch potato. I
have finished two cycles of "X" and am just about to start my third cycle. I've
lost a couple inches on my waist, a couple inches on my chest, over 29
pounds, and I can't even measure the impact that all of that has had on me
mentally! I am more energized and optimistic now that I have ever been.
There is a transformation that starts with your body and changes your entire
mindset too. I tell everybody 'just dip your toe in' and man, I can guarantee
that you will DIVE head first just like I did.
My new goal is to help to inspire others to make the same changes that I
have. I am by no means done with my own personal transformation, but my
life has been changing so much over the last 6 months, that I truly feel like I
should be 'Paying it Forward'. All it takes is a little nudge to get started, and I
can't thank Jason enough for giving me that push. There are no limits to
what you get out of this program, and I want to have that same impact on
others.
