My family was a big part of the motivation to get fit and more importantly, stay fit. One of the greatest roles we have as parents is the example we set for our children, no matter what in life. If you tell your kids you believe something and they never see you live it out, where is the example in that? It’s not good enough I am a 34 year old, father of four and have been married for nine years. My family was a big part of the motivation to get fit and more importantly, stay fit. One of the greatest roles we have as parents is the example we set for our children, no matter what in life. If you tell your kids you believe something and they never see you live it out, where is the example in that? It’s not good enough to say what you believe; you must be willing to make it a real and tangible part of your life. I have been working in residential sales in the construction industry for almost 12 years. One of the things I love about sales is helping people take their idea and make it a reality. I’ve been very successful in this area and because of the skills I’ve developed over the past 12 years, I am confident I can help others to realize their own fitness goals. As for family life, I like to read to and play games with my kids. We also like to watch some of our favorite childhood memories with the kids and show them how things ‘used to be’. My hobbies are playing guitar – something I’ve enjoyed doing since I was 18. My number one guitar is my Fender Stratocaster. I also enjoy playing Call of Duty on my PS3. In fact, look me up – we can play on the same team in a death match – Zepman08. Bring it! So, how did I get to my top weight? Life happened. Life’s stresses, good and bad, contributed to unhealthy eating and laziness. I woke up one day and realized I was 40lbs. overweight and didn’t know how to dig myself out of the mess I had created. Sure, I was like everyone else, trying all the fad diets out there, even giving in and starting to do the exercise I had known in my youth – running. And I did fairly well with healthier eating and running – losing weight and keeping it off for four months. And then a hip flexor injury set me back to the tune of eight weeks. But eight weeks came and went and the desire to get back into running was all but gone. I knew the day would come when enough would really be ENOUGH. That day was when I saw my brother {and sister-in-law’s} results from doing P90X. I had seen the infomercials and was curious, but hadn’t yet decided to purchase the system. The testimony from a family member cinched the deal. I ordered P90X within a few days and began my journey. One of my biggest accomplishments post P90X was being able to run up to the Woodstock Tower in Woodstock, Virginia – a round trip of seven miles with a 2.5 mile incline up the mountain! Here is a view from the top: http://www.virginiaplaces.org/vagupshenvalley/graphics/dscn4608.jpg How can I help you? I have a desire for a healthier and fit lifestyle and I feel I can relate with most people. The reality is that we are an obese nation. Having spent quite some time on that side of the fence, I really feel like I can relate to and encourage people to go outside their comfort zone. I want to help YOU achieve those fitness goals. You deserve nothing less. | ||||||||
